Art Exhibition: “Our Precious and Precarious World”
An exhibition to raise awareness for climate concerns, stimulate creative thinking, and influence policymakers to act decisively in defence of our precious planet.
I exhibited a painting that shows the conflicting reality of many socially vulnerable families in Brazil, whose income depends on informal recycling\rummage.
The painting represents my neighbourhood’s house and his work vehicle – a bespoke push that allows him to carry a considerable amount of recyclables such as paper, metal cans and plastic that he finds when rummaging through household trash, that later he resells to recycling companies, having this activity as the main source of income for his family.
