The Meadows Postcard

For no more than two weeks each year, The Meadows in Edinburgh is transformed into something almost magical when the cherry blossom trees are in full bloom. The park fills with life, the light feels brighter, and the soft pink petals create a fleeting, dreamlike atmosphere. In this drawing, I aim to capture that moment of abundance and colour, where spring feels at its peak. I’ve also included the iconic Millennium Mileposts , tis distinctive cast-iron sculptures that guide cyclists along the National Cycle Network. As a cyclist myself, I love exploring the routes, and this milepost is one of my favourite
